We are taking our first cruise in Jan on the Magic! It seems like many excursions are for ages 6 and up. I was wondering if those ages are strictly enforced? My kids are 5, 8, & 11. Can I bring my 5 y/o on an excursion if I think he can handle it? Than

    Hi, Heather!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Magic! For Port Adventures, the age guidelines are set forth by the tour operators, and the ages provided can vary from a suggestion to strictly enforced.  It's really going to depend on what you're considering.  If I were you, I would call Disney Cruise Line at 800--951-3532 and ask specifically about the Port Adventures you would like to book as a family.  Make sure that it won't be a problem to bring along your younger child.  We have actually been on a Port Adventure near the ship in the morning; traveled back to the ship for lunch; checked my youngest child in the Oceaneer's Club; and headed out on a second excursion with the big kids in the afternoon.

I hope this has helped you plan and given you an idea of how to manage everything and everyone while on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. Let me know if other questions pop into your head before you sail. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
