We're taking our first cruise on the Disney Fantasy in Nov; we have booked rooms on the 5th deck Aft on the starboard side. I know there were a lot of complaints about noise from the night clubs below on the Magic. Has that been fixed on the Fantasy?

    Hi K,

The Disney Fantasy is a magnificent ship!  It's much larger than the Disney Magic.  I've sailed on both so I can tell you that you shouldn't have any issues with noise.

You can actually check out your exact room location  compared to the location of the nightclubs by going to and searching under the tab that says "Ships & Activities", then choose the Disney ship you're interested in.  When you go to the bottom of the video that is playing you'll see a tab that says "Deck Plan".  If you have it, you'll be able to enter your stateroom number to see exactly where it's located.  On the far right of the page you can click on the different deck numbers to see what is located and where.  You can even find the stairs and elevators.

I hope this helps K.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a great trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
