We are taking our first Cruise to the Bahamas this Nov 2012! 2 adults & 2 kids. My question is are we required to get our passports? I read when we booked it, it was "suggusted" but now i think I'm reading that it is required. Or I'm I readin

    Hi Valerie,

Congratulations on your upcoming Disney cruise!  I'm very excited for you and your family.  Disney Cruise Line is exceptional and you'll be planning your next cruise before you even get off the first one...I promise:)

It is strongly suggested that you have passports for each member of your family, but at this time, it is not required.  You can also use birth certificates  with the raised seals along with a government issued photo id.  Please check out the Passport Information that Disney Cruise Line has on its website.  It also links to the U.S. Department of State website where you can find more detailed information.

I hope this helps Valerie!  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel....have a magical trip!
