Hi - We are taking the family to WDW in September and I was interested in dining at Le Cellier. I was wondering if there was age restrictions for the restuarant? We are bringing my 7 yr old daughter and 2 1/2 yr old son. Do they discourage bringing kids

There are a few restaurants on property that I wouldn't consider taking my children to, but Le Cellier isn't one of them.  We dined there in September with my four children, the youngest of whom was 13 months at the time.  The restaurant was packed full that evening (as I hear is typically the case) and there were a number of children in the dining room, not to mention strollers out front.  I found it to be somewhat loud inside but the children in attendance certainly weren't the cause.  Le Cellier's dining room is basically a cellar (hence the name), so any noise sort of echoes throughout the area.  That's not to say that the noise made for a bad experience though; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there.  Both the food and atmosphere were on par with our expectations.

If you're looking to get a reservation, I'd say the least of your worries should be bringing your children; Le Cellier reservations are notoriously hard to come by!  Should you be successful though, take the kids and enjoy!
