I am taking my family to WDW this Oct for 1 week. I need three rooms at the Grand Floridian. I was told that there are some of the newer rooms that are a bit more desirable. Can you tell me which buildings have the newer rooms at the Grand Floridian? .

    Hi Mike!

The Grand Floridian is a great hotel with a great location.  It's a favorite of many guests who return to Walt Disney World year after year.  All of the rooms at the Grand Floridian were recently refurbished a couple of years ago.  There hasn't been any construction for many years, but today there is major construction going on there!  Disney is building a Disney Vacation Club resort on the grounds of the Grand Floridian that is schedule to open in 2013.

I hope this helps!  Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  Write back if you have any more questions!
