We are taking a family vacation in November with my husbands family. There are 2 kids that are under age, when making dinner reservations, do I include them in the party number? Do you recommend that we make one large reservation, or divide our group?

    Hello Jennifer!

Welcome and thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Fall at the Walt Disney World Resort is an incredible time for a family vacation. You are in for a fantastic visit and it is wonderful that you are bringing along so many to share the magic with.

When making dining reservations, you need to include everyone, even infants and toddlers. The total number is included in the occupancy totals for the restaurant, so it is important to have an accurate head count. We often travel in large groups and I always try for one big reservation first, but if it is unavailable and we really have our heart set on going, I will try to break the group up and request to be as close as possible when we arrive at the restaurant.

Hopefully, you will be able to attend an evening at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, offered select nights from November 8 - December 18. My family loves this yuletide event and it is so fun to watch it "snow" on Main Street, U.S.A.

Have a wonderful vacation, Jennifer, and if there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
