we are taking a family vacation to Disney world in Nov 2019. my daughter will celebrate her 15th bday on our last day. any tips for an EXTRA special time? also we LOVE Christmas this will be our first time visiting this time of year. what are the MUST see?

Hello, Kerry! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There is so much to see and do during the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort! It can be a bit overwhelming upon first glance but hopefully I can provide you with some helpful tips! If your family enjoys experiencing the variety of cheer this season brings, I would highly recommend making a stop at Epcot for the International Festival of the Holidays. During this joyous festival, Guests will have the opportunity to dive into the holiday traditions found in each of the 11 nations of the World Showcase. Some of the attractions available include live music, seasonal food and beverages, and costumed-performers reenacting the stories of each nation.

For those that want to experience Magic Kingdom at its holiday best, I would suggest attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This special event boasts exclusive entertainment offerings, seasonal snacks and beverages, and Disney Character meet-and-greets. My personal favorite part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, though, would have to be the unlimited cookies and hot cocoa included in the cost of admission!

For your daughter’s very special birthday, you can look through the Enchanting Extras Collection and see which unique extra she would most enjoy! The range of options available in this collection is truly staggering. Some examples of potential add-ons include unique access tours, spa treatments, and speciality gift baskets hand-delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room by Disney Floral and Gifts.

Hopefully this information will help you continue to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
