    We are taking our family vacation on Dec 4-14, 2014 @ WDW. My question is I have bought Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for Dec 7th, I have also reserved us a table at the Terrace Firework Dessert Table @ 8:30 pm. Am I overlaping?????

    Hi Michelle ~

    Disney World in December is amazing!

    The entertainment schedule for the 2014 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) has not been released. Here was the entertainment schedule for the 2013 MVMCP events:

    * Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade (begins in Frontierland): 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
    * Celebrate the Magic: 9:15 p.m.
    * Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season: 9:30 p.m.
    * "A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show": 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:55 p.m., 10:50 p.m., and 11:45 p.m.
    * "Celebrate the Season" Show: 7:45 p.m., 10:05 p.m. and 11:20 p.m.

    The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party (TTFDP) is an awesome place to view fireworks in the Magic Kingdom. However, it is not a great place to see parades. You can see the tops of the parade floats from the Tomorrowland Terrace but you will not have a clear view of the parade.

    If last year's schedule holds true this year, the parade will be held at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and Holiday Wishes at 9:30 p.m. The parade lasts about 20 - 25 minutes once it reaches the spot where you are watching. You could try watching the parade first from Main Street and then heading to the Tomorrowland Terrace. However, keep in mind that they usually start breaking down the dessert buffet just before the fireworks so you would not leave yourself a lot of time to enjoy the yummy desserts.

    I would suggest that you arrive at the Tomorrowland Terrace at 8:30 p.m. and enjoy the TTFDP then find a place to watch the second parade. It is usually less crowded than the first parade and easier to find a good spot.

    Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
