    I am taking my family (9 of us) to WDW in October, 2010 and my 24 year old grandson is thinking of proposing to his girlfriend of 7 years in WDW. Do you have any suggestions of a special place to do this?

    Hi Bev,

    Oh - how exciting! I can't think of a better place to propose to someone than WDW! There are so many options & awesome places to propose! There are a few things that he should consider before deciding where to do it.  Does he want to do it in front of all of you or does he want this to be a private proposal and celebrate later with all of you?

    If he wants to do it privately, he should think of something special the two of them share. Here are some suggestions:

    * On the beach at the Polynesian during the fireworks at the MK.
    * During a carriage ride at the Wilderness Lodge
    * 400 feet above ground while taking a Characters In Flight helium balloon ride at DTD
    * In front of Cinderella Castle or in the Rose Garden during the fireworks at MK
    * During dinner at one of the many awesome restaurants at Disney (after he's made his reservations, contact the restaurant directly to help set something special up)
    * On their favorite attraction
    * On the balcony during dinner at California Grill during the fireworks at MK

    If he wants everyone to be a part of the engagement you could all participate in many of the above, he could propose on a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage that you're all on.

    You could also contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Dream Makers at 407-827-3505. They can deliver something special to a resort, during dinner or even to the carriage ride. But their ideas don't stop there - they are experts at making these types of occasions super special.
