Taking my family June 21 - June 25. Can you tell me the early park openings and if there are late day closings

    Hi Warren,

Thank you for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question. I love taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours, both in the mornings and evenings. During the hot summer months, it is so nice to be able to retreat to our hotel room during the day to rest, then heading back out when it is cooler and take advantage of Extra Magic Hour(s) in the evening after regular operating hour. Extra Magic Hours is a benefit for registered Guests who stay at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, as well as Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels, Shades of Green Resort, Four Seasons Resort Orlando, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

Typically, park hours at Walt Disney World Resort are usually released 180 days in advance. However, due to changes and health enhancements implemented during this reopening phase, park hours are only released about 60 days in advance. Unfortunately, Warren, park hours are not yet available for your upcoming June trip, and Extra Magic Hour is temporarily suspended at this time. Historically, during the month of June, there were Extra Magic Hours in the mornings and evenings at select parks. I truly hope Walt Disney World Resort will bring back this magical benefit in the near future. Warren, as your trip gets closer, please stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog and Disneyworld.com for the latest updates and official news regarding the Walt Disney World Resort.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
