    I am taking my family for their first trip to Disney June 16th-21st. My question is do you know if the festival of lion king will be open?

    Hi Laura!

    I was really sad when the Festival of the Lion King went into hibernation! Currently there are no updates on a proposed opening date. I would suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more up-to-date information. Hopefully, we will hear something soon, because I am sure that everyone is looking forward to opening day in the new theater. I hope this helps.
