Hi there! We are taking our family for the first time next month and have two kids under the age of three, one who will turn 3 in October and the other an infant. Given the new protocols under Covid guidelines, what information do I need for my kids?

    Hi Frances Elen!

Yeah! Hooray! Your first family trip to Walt Disney World! What a wonderful adventure you will all experience. Taking your little ones on their first flight with Peter Pan, tea cup spin, and voyage through "it's a small world" is going to be a pivotal family memory.

Do know that Walt Disney World is striving to keep guests healthy and safe with their covid protocols. Children two and over are required to wear a mask, so your oldest will need a face covering. Currently, protocols call for masks to be worn when you are indoors and on transportation, but you may take them down outside. Outdoor queues, walking across the park, or sitting by your resort pool may be mask free activities. Indoor queues, hotel lobbies, and stores are mask on locations.

Take a look at the planDisney video library. We have several videos with tips for families with small children to help you plan your first family trip.

Wishing you all an amazing visit to Mickey!
