I am taking my family to Disneyworld for the 1st time in Nov (We've been to Disneyland before) We are staying @ All Star Sports & have reservations for Ohana @Polynesion Resort. What would be the best way/route to get there (shuttle/taxi?)

    Hello, Terra,

How exciting that your family is visiting Walt Disney World for the first time!  Since you have reservations at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, you have a couple of options.  If your reservation is for dinner, you can easily use Disney transportation and leave from your resort and take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. Once there, just transfer to the resort monorail that will take you there.  In fact, the monorail station is on the same floor as 'Ohana, so it is very easy to walk directly there.  If you have time to spare, you could also take a boat from the Magic Kingdom.  It will go to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa first then Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  You will then have a chance to walk through and explore the resort a bit if you'd like.  Please allow at least an hour if not more in travel time between the resorts.

If your reservation is early in the morning, you may actually find it easiest and quickest to take a taxi directly there.  That is typically what we do as we never rent a car at Walt Disney World and rely on Disney transportation, except for early morning dining reservations.  Of course, a taxi is an option anytime that you'd like to save time.  Bell Services can help you with this if you'd like.

If you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip, please let us know.  We are happy to help!  Wishing you a magical vacation!  -Kara
