We are taking our family to DisneyWorld in November and plan to use MagicBands. Do I need to get one for my 22 month old?

Hi, Kimberly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm glad you brought us your question!

I'm so excited to hear you will be at the happiest place on earth, the Walt Disney World Resort, with your family this November! You will be able to experience the magical Holiday decorations all throughout the resort and the weather that time of year is just beautiful.

MagicBands are such cool feature of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. They will be your park admission, hold your FastPass+ reservations, and if you are staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, they will also be your room key. Your 22 month old won't need one since children younger than 3 don't need park admission. But if you purchased a Magic Your Way package, or have a room reservation at a hotel on property, and your little one is on the reservation, one will be provided for each member of your party listed in your reservation.

One last tip: If you haven't done so already, make sure you create an account on My Disney Experience and start thinking about which FastPass+ reservations you want to make for your park days. You can begin making those 60 days out if you're staying on property or 30 days out if staying offsite.

I hope this helped answer your question. Be sure to come back and see us real soon!
