    I am taking my family to the Disneyland resort for Easter Sunday April 19-23, 2014. What special things happen in Disneyland and California Adventure for Easter? I've been for every other holiday except Easter! I have not been able to find anything yet...

    Hi, Janien!

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. This is one of my favorite seasons to visit The Happiest Place on Earth! The sunny Southern California weather, colorful blooming flowers and lush foliage around the grounds make for a practically perfect springtime vacation.

    Easter weekend will be a great time to visit, because this year is the debut season of the Springtime Roundup.  From March 28 until April 20, Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland at Disneyland Park will be adorned with springtime décor and flowers. Disney characters will appear to meet Guests, along with the Easter Bunny and a carrot patch of famous Disney rabbits. A lively country music band is slated to take the stage several times daily as a group of dancing cowboys and cowgirls perform a hoedown and “bunny hop."  

    Springtime Roundup will also bring other fun activities to enjoy, like egg art demonstrations, yummy treats, arts and crafts projects, and more. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as Easter approaches for more details about specific holiday offerings in both parks!
