Taking my family to Disney World for the first time and i wanted to make it a little extra special for my kids and send some gifts down ahead of time for the staff to leave in our rooms. Has anyone heard of doing this? is it possible?

Congratulations on taking your 1st Walt Disney World vacation, you cannot imagine the magic that awaits for your family!  You can absolutely send packages ahead time to your Disney resort, here's what you'll need to do:
    • When addressing your package on the c/o line put your last name and reservation confirmation number
    • On the box itself, write "Guest & your reservation number" in red with a Sharpie so that it will be held in the correct area.
    • Resorts will typically hold packages for up to 10 days so make sure to send it in plenty of time, just not too early
Cast members are not available to place these items in your room, but I have a few suggestions that have worked for me.  Once the kids have gone to sleep, place your surprises along with a note letting them know that Mickey Mouse or one of their favorite characters left them a special surprise during the night.  If you have light sleepers, you may want to try what I call the double back.  In the morning when everyone is ready to go to the parks for the day, have one of the adults in your party "forget" something. That adult could quickly double back and arrange this surprise so it is waiting upon your return.

Another great option is to contact the Dream Makers with Disney Florist, they have a wide variety of options from in-room celebrations, custom baskets to lots of other fun surprises to fit just about any budget and imagination.  These can also be delivered to your room while you are having a great time enjoying the parks.  I hope this helps and please visit us again if you have anymore questions!

    Enjoy your Disney Time!
