We are taking our family on a Disney vacation. My 15 month old has dairy allergies. Is there a list of ingredients I can view, or would the waitstaff know if food contains common allergens?

    Holly:

Most folks aren't aware, but Disney provides a book at most counter service restaurants that lists the ingredients found in its menu items.  Just ask a cast member at the counter for the book, and you'll be able to make healthy choices.

As for table dining, simply tell the wait staff that your child has an allergy.  They will summon the chef who will come to your table and not only suggest items for your specific allergy but can also tailor items on the menu that your child can enjoy!  (And yes, it really is that simple!)

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
