Hi Susie,
You are living one of my Disney dreams! My husband and I have five kiddos, and we're already talking about wanting to take them and their families together on a Disney vacation once they're grown and we are
grandparents. I'm super excited for you and know that you'll make memories together that you'll all cherish forever!
With a large family myself, I'm always looking for ways to stretch our Disney dollars, and I'd be happy to share some tips with you. First of all, make sure you keep your eyes on the
special offers, deals & discounts page for any current special offers. Secondly, you'll find a
Disney Resort hotel to fit any budget, and with so many great
perks, like complimentary
MagicBands, access to
Extra Magic Hours, and the ability to make
FastPass+ selections earlier, I'd definitely recommend staying on site. There are lots of ways to configure rooms, and I'd suggest calling a
vacation specialist to have them crunch some numbers to see what's most affordable for you during the exact dates of your trip. If you're visiting soon, definitely look into the
Summer One World ticket offer - it's a great deal and the perfect way to experience the magic all around the Walt Disney World Resort!
One great way to save some money for large parties is by preparing some meals yourselves. Did you know that you may
bring your own food and drinks into the theme parks? There are some
restrictions, like no glass bottles, large coolers, loose ice, or alcohol, but my family likes to bring our own breakfasts and snacks, and you could even bring a lunch or dinner with you! Of course, one great food deal I love to share with large families is the refillable popcorn bucket. It's an affordable way to enjoy a delicious snack and a must-do on each of our Disney trips.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susie, and please feel free to stop by again with any other questions. I hope that you and all of your Mouseketeers have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
