Hi Joanne,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! How exciting to hEAR that you’re having a big family vacation! Some of my fondest memories are from my family’s vacations, so I’m sure it’ll be a true core memory for everyone!
When it comes to the tickets, if you bought them all together, the tickets are probably already in your account. If you weren’t signed into your
My Disney Experience account when you purchased, you can just enter the confirmation code into the app to add the tickets.
Once the tickets are linked, you can share your plans with those who have their own My Disney Experience accounts so the plans show up within their app. To do this, select the three horizontal lines and scroll down to “My Profile”. Once selected, choose “Family & Friends List”. Right now, under everyone’s names it most likely says “Plans Managed by Me”. To change this, select the guest’s name you want to share the plans with and choose “Send Email”. From there, once that guest accepts, you’ll be sharing the family’s plans with that person. You’ll want to repeat this step for everyone who has their own account.
Once everyone accepts, make sure to continue sharing all your plans. You’ll see this option under each guest’s name you shared the plans with. This way any dining reservations or other plans that come up during the vacation will be shared from your app to theirs!
For those who have iPhones or Apple Devices you can create a
Disney MagicMobile pass for them and share it so they can add their pass (which links to their ticket) to their Apple Wallet! You can read more about it
here.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. In the meantime, if you have any other planning questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
