    Taking Disney Wonder relocation Sept 20 2011 with under 5's. Arriving at LA, disembarkation can take some time so will not have time to stop at LAX for lunch B4 flight. Can we ask for a pack lunch to take with us before we leave the ship to avoid meltdown

    Hi, Sharon!

    You are a forward-thinking mom, and I like it! Yet, packed food is not available for your trip home. In fact, food items of any kind are sort of "frowned upon" by US Customs as you re-enter the country.  I advise that you get your crew up and ready on Debarkation Day and have them "tank up" at the Beach Blanket Buffet. There are restaurants and shops at Ports O' Call Village at the Port of Los Angeles where you may can stop for a packed lunch, but I'm not sure when or how they serve. You can call before you arrive to get some suggestions from the locals by calling (310) 548-8080.  Of course, there are also those handy kiosks at LAX where you can grab something quick..or you can wait until you're on board your flight to order some "yummy" airline food!
