We will be taking the Disney Wonder Cruise the first of December with our 2 year old and 4 year old. I don't even know where to begin as far as planning excursions that would work for us all. Also, are there any special Christmas things that go on in Dece

    Hi Ange,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  For our family, a Disney Cruise was always the easiest vacation we could take with our toddlers and pre-schoolers.  Having quick access to the quiet of our stateroom for a little bit of down time or a nap was priceless.  Plus, the unlimited variety of fresh foods that were cleaned and prepared made it the perfect way to please even the pickiest eaters in our family.

The important thing to remember her is that this is your vacation - it should not be stressful or overwhelming, and you are free to participate in activities, entertainment and excursions as much or as little as you like.  Quite honestly, I don't think we booked excursions when they were that little, we considered the ship our destination.  While the ship was docked in Nassau, we took advantage of the nearly empty swimming pools and play spaces.

One voyage we opted to take a taxi over to the Atlantis Resort while in Nassau.  If enabled us to see some of the island, and although we could not access the full aquarium, there were very cool tanks in the public spaces that the kids really enjoyed looking at.

While on Castaway Cay with the little ones - the beach is our favorite part of the island, along with the newly opened Spring-a-Leak spray-ground.

As for the holidays, you can expect the ship to be decked out in holiday decor.  It's a great opportunity to have your family photo taken in front of the Christmas tree - it makes a wonderful holiday card!

I hope this helps - feel free to send along any follow-up questions!
