Hi Ronald -
Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. What a lucky Princess you've got! She must be delighted and beyond excited to be sailing on the Disney Cruise with Captain Mickey. It is an awesome voyage and you will surely enjoy the majestic beauty and splendor of Alaska.
You are able to start your Online Check-In prior to embarkation day. You can complete registration and pick up her wristband either at the terminal or once you embark. This will complete her registration to be a participant of the
Oceaneer Club. Once you embark, I encourage you to take advantage of the youth club's open house, so that you and your Princess can learn about what to expect. You can also take the time to speak with the wonderful youth counselors to learn more about specific activities in the days to come.
Be warned that your granddaughter may want to spend most of her days and evenings at the Youth Club... it just never gets old! There are lots of friends to be made at the club - and the activities are just non-stop fun. My kids always make friends while on the cruise and they even go to dinner altogether -- we time it when my husband and I go on our date night at
Palo. The kids love having "dinner on their own" with a couple of friends at our designated dinner rotation restaurant. It makes them feel like they really are big kids and go out to a "nice dinner" by themselves :-). I hear a lot of wacky stories the following day. So, don't forget to check out all the
Adult Exclusive Entertainment onboard to keep you busy.
I hope this helps. Wishing you a wonderful voyage to Alaska, Ronald!
