Ahoy and welcome to planDisney, Daniel! Thank you for sailing our way.
I'm so happy to hear that you will be sailing aboard the
Disney Wish this summer, during the
Silver Anniversary at Sea. How wonderful! I'd love to help you understand what you can expect on days when the ship is visiting a port.
The Disney Wish will dock at your port of call and an announcement will be made when guests are cleared to disembark the ship. An estimate of this Guests Ashore time will be displayed if you look at your itinerary under the My Plans section of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app or when logged in to your account on the Disney Cruise Line Website. From that time on, you are welcome to exit the ship and return to the ship at your leisure, as long as you are back onboard by the All Aboard time.
You are welcome to enjoy a
Port Adventure or explore the port on your own and return to the ship to have lunch, relax, or take part in the activities that will be happening onboard. You can even disembark the ship, return, and disembark again. We have done that when our children wanted to head back to
Disney's Oceaneer Club mid-day and my husband and I still wanted to explore. Some guests even chose to stay on the ship instead of disembarking at the port. You are free to enjoy your vacation in the way that suits you best!
This freedom to choose how you'd like to spend your time is what makes a Disney Cruise so much fun for my family. There are
activities that appeal to each of us, and we enjoy spending time together, and separately while on board. It won't be long till you are spending your time exploring and relaxing while on your upcoming Disney Cruise.
If you have any more questions for us, my pals and I would love to help. Set your sails to planDisney any time!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
