We are taking our 1st Disney trip next month! We are staying at Pop Century. We have decided to take Amtrak from NY to Orlando. Does Disney offer a shuttle from the train or should I plan on taking a taxi? Do you know how far the station is from Amtrak?

By riding a train your family starts having fun the minute your trip begins. A journey by rail seems much cooler than a trip by minivan down I-95.

You will have to arrange your own transportation from the Amtrack station to Walt Disney World. The Orlando station is about 30 minutes from the parks. Both a taxi stand and a Hertz rental car desk are at this location. The Kissimmee station is about 25 minutes from WDW but has no rental car service and you will need to call for a taxi.

Your first visit is going to be a blast! Together as a family you will create wonderful memories zooming down Space Mountain, eating Mickey ice cream, and seeing Cinderella Castle. Disney's Pop Century Resort is a delightful blast from the past. I love the giant Big Wheel and Rubik's Cube.
