Hi Cariann,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow NJ Disney Fan!
I, too, love riding the
Walt Disney World Monorail "Highway in the Sky." Every time I hear those three single tones followed by "Our Monorail will be departing momentarily," I look forward to the beautiful views looking out over Walt Disney World, including the Seven Seas Lagoon and the resorts along its shores. The Epcot Monorail, and its winding route overlooking the park, offers beautiful views of the Epcot gardens below, especially during Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
I always think of the Walt Disney World Monorail as an attraction in and of itself. Even if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel that provides bus service service to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, you can make sure to enjoy a ride on the iconic Monorail.
The
complimentary bus service for Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests will take you directly to the bus stops located outside the theme parks and water parks. Guests staying at Magic Kingdom area Monorail resorts can board the Resort Monorail to get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and can board
water taxis to Magic Kingdom. Water taxis also service the Epcot area resorts.
On any Walt Disney World vacation, I like to take advantage of each of the transportation options — Monorail, bus, and boat. I'm especially excited for the upcoming
Disney Skyliner Transportation System. Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
