Ahoy, Marie, and welcome to planDisney! Looks like you have a magical sailing coming up very soon so let's dive right into your question.
Disney Cruise Line does offer
ground transportation to and from Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Port Everglades, but only for Guests staying at the resort. You may want to consider departing from
Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina instead, as, currently, you don't have to be a Guest at this hotel to book ground transportation to/from Port Everglades through Disney.
I spoke with a helpful Cast Member who reminded me that all your shuttle details, including arrival time, should be included in your reservation confirmation. Marie, you may want to
give Disney a call for more information and details regarding your particular reservation. They'll also be able to confirm arrival time, as well.
What I love about ground transportation through Disney is, after reserving your spot on the bus, it's nothing but smooth sailing from there as you'll be completely taken care of from start to finish, including the handling of your luggage! I also enjoy the classic Disney movies and Disney trivia during my bus ride, which always gives a little jump start to my vacation! Not to mention, Port Everglades in
Fort Lauderdale is a fairly new port and will be a lovely way to begin your amazing adventure on Disney Cruise Line.
And, Marie, make sure to have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App downloaded before you embark, as it will be your best pal while onboard your cruise. The entire list of daily activities, from Kids Club to trivia, movie showings to dance parties, is in the app and will be helpful to keep track of all the fun happenings offered on the ship. Some of my family's fondest memories are from our time with Mickey and Pals aboard a Disney Cruise and I sincerely wish you the most magical voyage, Marie.
All aboard!
