    Hi! We are taking the Disney Magic 7 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise that sets sail on January 14, 2012. Do you know what shows or themes we'll be experiencing? I'm trying to decide which costumes to pack for my kids. Do kids typical dress in costume?

    Hi Beth!

    We were just on the Magic for 7  nights and absolutely loved it.  I'm sure you are going to have a fantastic cruise!

    The big three Disney shows were:  "Disney Dreams", "Twice Charmed - An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story", and "Villains Tonight".  Disney Dreams and Twice Charmed are definitely "must sees".  The other two shows were "All Aboard - Let the Magic Begin" and "Remember the Magic" on the last night; both of these shows are a mixture of variety acts, musical performances, and some Disney characters in skits.

    With regards to theming, there was a pirates night one night.  I'd say about a quarter to one third of the guests were dressed in some sort of pirate costume (mostly the children, but a lot of adults as well).  There was also one formal night and one semi-formal night.
