We will be taking a Disney Cruise and plan on staying at Disney World for 2 days before we sail. The frist day we won't get to Disney World until 3:00 in the afternoon. If we just want to go to the Magic Kingdom and walk around will we need a pass for that

    Hello John,

It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful vacation!  I think it's great that you'll be spending two days at Disney World before you go on your cruise.  Land and sea vacations are the best of both worlds!

You will have to purchase passes to get into Magic Kingdom or any of the other theme parks.  Let me make a suggestion at least for the first afternoon there.  You can head over to Downtown Disney.  It's full of an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.  Best of all, there is no charge to roam around and explore.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm always happy to help.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel and happy sailing!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
