We're taking a Disney Cruise in October of 2012 and we're trying to decide where to stay the night before. In the past, the Disney Cruise Line only picked up guests at certain resorts, is this still the case or do they pick up at all of the resorts now?

    Hi, Deanna!

Ground Transportation for Disney Cruise Line (DCL) will pick up at most Walt Disney World (WDW) resorts.  If you are booked through DCL in advance for the ground transfers, you can indicate your resort and request pick up.  If for some reason ground transportation is not available from a particular resort at the time you sail, DCL will give you options for your resort pick up.

To book a Pre- or Post-Cruise Hotel Package, you can go online to DisneyCruise.com or simply call 800-951-3532.  You can also book your ground transportation online or on the phone.  For a quick reference, the WDW resorts listed for the hotel add-on packages are:

    Deluxe Resort Hotels:
    Animal Kingdom Lodge
    Beach Club
    BoardWalk Inn
    Contemporary
    Grand Floridian
    Polynesian
    Wilderness Lodge
    Yacht Club

    Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels:
    Old Key West
    Saratoga Springs

    Moderate Resort Hotels:
    Caribbean Beach
    Coronado Springs
Port Orleans — French Quarter & Riverside

    Value Resort Hotels:
    All-Star Movies
    All-Star Music
    All-Star Sports
    Pop Century

I hope this helps you plan.  Let me know if you have more questions before you sail. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
