Hi Maria Regina!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your upcoming Disney Cruise is right around the corner! How fun that your voyage includes a stop at Walt Disney World Resort, too! My buccaneer is around the same age as your little guy so I completely understand the importance of factoring a nap into the day! You asked a really wonderful question. I'm happy to give you a couple ideas of places where my little one has caught some much-needed zzz's in and around
Magic Kingdom Park.
The first location that is off the beaten path and usually quiet is right off Main Street, U.S.A., on the right-hand side of the street as you're walking towards Cinderella Castle. If you look at the
interactive map of Magic Kingdom Park, the entrance to this quiet alcove is right near the shop, Crystal Arts. The entrance to this side street usually has silhouette artists cutting paper silhouette portraits of Guests, too! Over the years, my son has collectively spent several hours napping in his wheelchair in this hidden nook while my husband and I comfortably sat at a table or bench! Another area where we found an excellent napping location is
Tom Sawyer Island located in Frontierland. There are many benches, plenty of shady areas and rocking chairs for your tired traveler to catch a peaceful nap.
I know your time in Magic Kingdom Park will be limited, so I hope I was able to give you a couple ideas for your buccaneer to rest, get recharged and ready for fun after the motor coach ride from Port Canaveral! If you have any other excellent questions, please come back and visit us again!
