Welcome aboard, Melissa -
Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Taking advantage of the Disney Cruise Line ground transportation to and from your Disney Resort makes your vacation so much more convenient. It's less hassle and extremely comfortable too!
You are able to disembark anytime between 7:30-9am that morning. Allow some time for falling in line of course, as you collect your baggage and go through US Customs. You'll want to head over to the motor coaches to board the next bus that will take you to
Disney's Pop Century Resort. There will be cast members directing you where to go. Your driver will be your baggage handler, and he/she will load your luggage onto your bus. There may be some waiting -- just in case more passengers board. We usually will get comfortable on the bus and on average have waited 10-15 minutes before the bus gets on its way. It will take about 45 minutes to an hour to get from the Port to the Disney resorts, depending on traffic. If there are other guests on the bus, you may need to make 2-3 resort stops along the way (unless you are the 1st stop).
As an example, if you leave the port by 9am, you'll likely get to your hotel lobby at around 10:30 to 11am to do an early check-in. You can leave your bags with bell services just in case your room is not ready yet. That way, you can zoom off to enjoy a day at the Parks and get your sea legs back on solid ground.
I hope this info helps, Melissa. Please do let us know if you need any additional information as you prepare for your cruise vacation in November.
Have a great day!
