We are taking a Disney cruise in March 2011 and were curious if smoking is allowed on board. None of us smoke and liked that WDW had designated areas for smokers that be avoided by non-smokers.

    Hi Lori,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Great question, and I know this is a big factor for many when planning a vacation.  Currently smoking is allowed on the Disney Cruise Ships, but only in a few outdoor locations.  It has never been permitted in the staterooms or enclosed areas.  For a description of where smoking is permitted, click HERE.

Smoking is permitted on the stateroom verandah, so you could possibly be next to a smoker (but hopefully upwind).  Unfortunately this is not a question that is asked during the reservation process, so there is no way to know if you're near a smoker prior to sailing.

    Hope this helps!
