Ahoy, Bill!
I'm so excited to hear your cruise on the gorgeous Disney Fantasy is right around the corner! I'm happy to help with your question.
If you're interested in having wine with your dinner each evening during your cruise, there are Wine and Dine Bottle packages available to guests - the Classic Wine Package and the Premium Wine Package. Both packages have selections of White Wines, Sparkling, and Red Wines to choose from. The packages can be purchased in 3, 4, 5, or 7-bottle packages, depending on the length of your cruise, or how many bottles you think you'd like to enjoy during your sailing. Once purchased, you simply choose a bottle from the exclusive wine list to pair with your dinner each evening. The wine of your choice will be brought to your table by your service team. If you don't drink all of the bottles in the package, no worries. Guests are allowed to carry up to two bottles of wine off the ship. Wine packages can be purchased ahead of time through the
Gifts and Amenities section on the Disney Cruise Line website (pre-orders must be received 48 hours prior to your sailing). You can also wait until you're onboard to purchase these packages.
I don't recall seeing Japanese sake offered on the ships, but if you'd like to bring some with you, Guests 21 and up are allowed to bring two bottles of wine aboard in their
carry-on luggage. Bottles must be unopened and no larger than 750ml. There's a $25 corking fee to bring your personal wine with you to enjoy in the main dining rooms.
As far as Japanese food, you'll definitely see some Asian-inspired entrees on several of the menus, as well as an array of sushi offerings each day at Cabanas restaurant. The sushi section is my go-to for my midday snack! Hint: the servings are small, but you can ask for several!
I hope you have an amazing time on your Disney Cruise Line vacation! - Diane W.
