Ahoy, Patricia! Thanks for sailing to planDisney with your question about your upcoming voyage with the Disney Cruise Line!
Oh boy, it's about time to set sail! Are your
bags packed? I must admit, I get so excited about sailing with Mickey and the gang that I start packing as early as possible. It sounds like you are thinking about the face coverings you'll be bringing aboard and where you'll need to use them.
The Disney Cruise Line is regularly updating the
"Know Before You Go" section of their website to keep guests up to date about procedures surrounding their cruise vacations. With a lot of updates recently, I can see why you are asking!
At this time, you will be required to wear your face covering on motorcoach transportation and in the Disney Cruise Line terminal prior to boarding the ship. While onboard, all guests ages two and up are required to wear face coverings in the
Walt Disney Theatre. Guests under the age of five that are not yet eligible to be vaccinated must wear face coverings in the
Youth Activity spaces onboard as well as in the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Face coverings are not required for Guests outdoors and are optional in all of the areas of the ship outside of the spaces that were mentioned above. I hope that helps clear things up for you!
Your time on the
Disney Dream is quickly approaching! While onboard, I highly recommend checking out the
Midship Detective Agency for the young and the young at heart! My whole family loves to explore the ship and solve a mystery together. I hope that however you choose to spend your time onboard, you have a lovely vacation. Please cruise back to us again if you ever have the need. It's a pleasure to help our fellow guests.
Bon Voyage!
