I am taking my DD5 for our 1st trip 12/1-12/6/08. I have 6 character meals scheduled. Is that too many? They are the only table service meals that I have scheduled. LOVE the panel...will be reading it every day till we leave. thanks:)

Hi Janet.    Glad you are enjoying the panel!   Let me start by saying that I also planned quite a few character meals the first time I took my children.   So I could never argue too much against scheduling six character meals.  Our kids really did enjoy these type of meals -- and still do.   They offer not only a nice dining experience but also opportunities for the many pictures and autograph signing you are looking for.

I do have two thoughts.   First, you note six character breakfasts are scheduled.   If not among those already scheduled, since you have a daughter, your may wish to switch one to a Princess dining experience.   This remains one of my daughter's favorite memories.   Second, I notice that you plan to visit for 5 or 6 days.   So my only warning would be to review your reservations and make sure you are leaving adequate time to enjoy the parks and attractions.   If you are hesitant, I would still keep your reservations and if you find you are falling behind doing other items, just call when you are there and cancel your reservation.    Enjoy your first trip!
