Hey Susana,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing this question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit to us. I love the fact that you are embarking on a land and sea adventure. You’ll get to experience all the wonder of a
Disney Cruise Line vacation and then end your adventure with a jaunt to Walt Disney World. How fantastic! I’m thrilled to help you with some ideas as you plan for your time on land.
Currently, there is a special promotion for a
2-day, 2-park ticket that allows you to visit EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom. This is a great promotion for your visit, especially since Magic Kingdom is hosting
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on August 14 and tickets are sold out for that evening. I would normally suggest Magic Kingdom for families with small children with limited time, but since that park will be closing at 6 p.m. you will not get to experience a full park day there and you will miss entertainment like
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away and
Happily Ever After.
There's so much to do with little ones at EPCOT on your full park day. Stop and catch ¡Celebración Encanto! on stage at
Communicore Plaza in World Celebration. Visit
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana to cool off and explore the marvels of water. Be sure to check out
The Seas with Nemo and Friends and don't forget to stop and experience the interactive
Turtle Talk with Crush. A toddler favorite might also be
Frozen Ever After in Norway where you can visit Arendelle and see Princesses Ana and Elsa. Don't forget to stay for
Luminous The Symphony of Us - EPCOT's spectacular firewsorks show.
On your half day, visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This park usually opens earlier than other theme parks at Disney World, so you'll feel like you are getting a little more time to experience things. Your toddler will love
Kilimanjaro Safaris where they can spot tons of wild animals from an open-air vehicle. Check out
Festival of the Lion King - a spectacular show that celebrates the Disney classic movie The Lion King. Enjoy the brand new
Zootopia: Better Zoogether show inside The Tree of Life. Right after the show, meet Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot just next to the attraction entrance.
Susana, I hope this information is helpful. If you need any additional assistance planning your next Disney World visit, please stop by and visit us here at planDisney again. We’ll see ya real soon!
