We are taking a 4 day cruise out of San Diego on 4/14. Our flight arrives at 10am and our Port arrival time is at 1:45pm. Can we drop off our luggage before our Port Arrival time or do you have any suggestions for a party of 11 and their luggage?

Ahoy, Denise! Your Disney Cruise Line countdown is in the single digits! I bet you can’t wait to board the Disney Wonder for your 4-night cruise.

Unfortunately, you may not drop off your luggage before your Port Arrival Time due to safety and security reasons. I know this is not the news you were hoping for, especially with an early flight time. However, I have a few suggestions.

With Disney Ground Transportation, you can enjoy a seamless start to your vacation! Upon arrival at the airport, a friendly Disney Cruise Line representative will greet you near the baggage claim area and guide you to your awaiting motorcoach. While you settle into your comfortable seat, your luggage will be securely loaded onto the bus and transported directly to the ship, allowing you to relax and focus on the excitement of your upcoming adventure with Captain Mickey.

The port is a quick ten-minute drive away, and best of all, with Disney transportation, you don’t have to worry about arriving at a specific Port Arrival Time. If this interests you, give a reservation agent a call, and they can add one-way or roundtrip transfers to your reservation.

Another option is to linger at the airport, where you can treat yourself to a leisurely lunch or explore the shops. If you're interested in trying out some local cuisine, several hotels and restaurants are within walking distance of the cruise terminal. I did a quick internet search and found pancakes, tacos, and ice cream a short stroll away. Enjoy your pre-cruise adventures!

    Bon Voyage!
