We're taking a 3 day cruise on the Disney Dream - July 17, 2014. Is there a way to figure out the rotational order of the restaurants? We want to coordinate our Palo reservation with the rotational order, so we don't miss dining at the Animators Palate.

    Welcome aboard, Shilisa -

It's almost time for you to join Captain Mickey and his crew on the sail away party onboard the Disney Dream. I'm sure that you and your family are very excited to be going on this magical Bahamian Cruise. You are in for such a treat!

You've got my 2 favorite dining venues noted on your question - and I agree 100% that you should definitely not miss your Animator's Palate dining rotation. It's such as awesome dining area, and walking through those doors just perks up your senses. I always have to stop right by the entrance and do a full room view for a few seconds - beautiful artistry and creative geniuses were responsible for making this restaurant a favorite hit among Disney Cruisers.  This is a signature restaurant that you'll only find on the Disney Cruise Ships and nowhere else!

Your dining rotation will only be confirmed once you check-in at the Port on embarkation day and they hand you your Key to the World Cards. Prior to your cruise, you are welcome to call the Disney Cruise Line Travel Desk at 1-800-951-3532 to make a request - but as you know, this is not 100% guaranteed. I would suggest going ahead with making your Palo dinner reservations, and then handling any dining rotation changes or requests once you are on the ship. Check with Guest Services on where the Restaurant Managers are that day (usually they're all in the same place in one of the restaurants or lounges). They'll have their computers with them, and they can make instant changes to your dining assignments and also confirm your Palo dinner reservation. If any changes are made, they'll give you new Key to World Cards on the spot. This saved my schedule on our last cruise, since it actually happened to us. They were able to make the changes - so, we were able to enjoy our favorite chocolate souffle at Palo, and on a different night, we were chatting with Crush!

Have a sprinkling of pixie dust and enjoy your cruise!
