    Taking daughter-7yrs to Disney,1st time 10/11-10/17.Staying at AK & seeing MK on 10/12. Dinner res. at Yachtsman Steakhouse for 6:20pm and would like to change for dinner. What time should we leave MK? What time should we leave AK to make it on time?

    Hi Cindy,

    Determining travel time can get a little tricky.  My advice is to leave Magic Kingdom around 3:00 -- maybe stay for the 3:00 parade, and then head back to your resort.  This will give you time to change and relax a little before heading off to your dinner reservation.  You may even find you have time for a quick dip in the pool.

    To get from the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Yachtsman Steakhouse, I would take the bus to Hollywood Studios.  From there, you can take a scenic boat ride to Yacht Club.
