Hi Erica...what a wonderful age your daughters will be when they visit Walt Disney World! I agree, there are so many options available to you that it can be very overwhelming-you've definitely come to the right place by asking the Moms Panel! First, and foremost, keep in mind that there is no way that you can expect to fit everything into one trip to Walt Disney World - especially with little ones, you will need to take it easy and let them set the pace. Having cranky, over-tired kids is definitely not going to make your vacation very magical. For children that age, the Magic Kingdom has the most age-appropriate attractions and appeal.
New Fantasyland has many great new offerings that your daughters would love-Enchanted Tales with Belle, Journey Under the Sea with Little Mermaid and a chance to meet and take photos with Ariel at Ariel's Grotto, are just a few of the things you will find there. At Storybook Circus they will be able to ride along with Dumbo the Flying Elephant-always a favourite for every age! I suggest you spend some time on
the Walt Disney World website where you will find an overview for each park and which attractions are offered. Pick just a few must-do's and then play it by ear according to how your daughters are holding up. Flexibility is the key! Be sure to include some down-time back at your resort, perhaps in the afternoon, so that everyone can rest, relax or hang out by the pool. Also, you'll definitely want to watch the Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom-they are absolutely stunning, and give me goosebumps every time!
Please feel free to ask any more questions you may have-we are here to help you plan a magical vacation for your family!
