I am taking my daughter to WDW 5/21-5/27 for her very 1st visit/4th bday, the same as my 1st visit many years ago. I have booked us for hopper tickets, but have been on the fence about adding the water parks. Would they be worth the extra $ for us?

    Hi Jodi!

Happy 4th birthday to your daughter!  What a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday with a first visit to Disney World!  Adding the water parks option to your tickets is entirely your decision, but I will tell you if it were my family I would do it.  Well, we have done it...our annual passes include the water parks.  My son (2 ½) has always been a water baby.  Sometimes I think he would rather spend the whole day at Typhoon Lagoon than go visit Mickey at a park.  I can also tell you that it will be very warm in May, so it’s nice to take a break in the afternoon and cool down in the water.  You don’t want to burn yourself out trying to fit everything into her first visit, so take that under consideration as well.

To help you decide, take a look at the many things Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach have to offer.  Either way, your daughter is sure to have a birthday filled with pixie dust!

    Have a magical day!
