I am taking my daughter to WDW for her 3rd birthday this Nov. She has never had a haircut. I love the idea of a princess look. Does the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique cut hair or simply style hair? Would it be better to go to the Main Street Barber Shop?

If you're looking to have her lovely locks actually trimmed, you'll need to stop in at the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom.  First haircuts there are so much fun; we did my son's first one in September.  They had all sorts of toys/activities to help keep him still during the experience, although at three your daughter will likely be more cooperative than a thirteen-month old!  At the end of the haircut, they gave my son a special certificate, a pair of embroidered Mickey ears, and a few locks of his trimmed blond curls.  They even wrapped it up and sprinkled some pixie dust in!  It made for a memorable first haircut for sure.  One thing to keep in mind is that the Harmony Barber Shop operates on a first-come, first-serve basis and does not accept appointments.  Trying to stop in during a parade time or immediately upon opening may be your best bet.

The Fairy Godmothers over at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique don't actually cut hair, but they are the ones to turn to if a princess look is what you yearn for.  They have a variety of different looks you can choose from, and the package prices vary as well.  Reservations are highly recommended for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and can be made by calling 407-WDW-STYLE.
