Hey there, hi there, ho there Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney, thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm thrilled to help! Can you believe your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner? You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Mommy-daughter days are simply the best! They are even more magical when you are spending them at Walt Disney World! Some of my favorite experiences at Disney have been spending time with my 13 year old daughter. We have created new traditions and lasting memories together. I've been fortunate to get this time with her. For the past two years her cheerleading team has qualified to compete at
ESPN Wide World of Sports which allows me to leave my husband, son and toddler at home and enjoy some quality time with my girl!
Birthday Celebrations are truly magical at Walt Disney World Resort! Though she'll turn 14 after your visit, there are many ways that you can celebrate her birthday during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. My first suggestion is to stop by any
Guest Relations or Front Desk location to pick up a complimentary “Happy Birthday” button that she can wear during your visit!
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is an absolute highlight of Spring in Walt Disney World and lines up with the dates my daughter and I are there for cheerleading and will be going on during your arrival as well! The 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is from February 28th through May 27th and is a must do for my daughter and I. We snack and I sip at all of the Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths, check out all the lovely
Disney topiaries, and catch a Garden Rocks concert or two! To navigate the festival be sure to snag a Flower and Garden Festival Passport. The free Festival Passport is a booklet that essentially acts as your guide to the Festival. You can pick one up as you walk into the park or at any of the Festival’s Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths.
Going on a trip with just my daughter and me is a fantastic opportunity to fully utilize the
Park Hopper Option. Unlike our family vacations with my husband and all the kids, where we usually stick to one park a day and take things at a leisurely pace, having just the two of us allows for a more agile approach. We can move swiftly from park to park, maximizing our time and riding as many attractions as possible. It's a different kind of adventure, filled with excitement and the thrill of experiencing multiple parks in one day!
Jennifer, I hope you find this information helpful! And a very merry birthday to your daughter! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
