We are taking our daughter on her first trip to WDW in November 2015. She will be 4 1/2 at the time of our trip. I know most dining reservations open up 180 days in advance, but what & where are the best character meals to book for her age?

    Katherine,

First trips are always so exciting!  Character dining experiences are a must-do for our family so here are a few of our favorites.

With a little Princess, I would book a fun breakfast, lunch or dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table.  Could you imagine dining among Disney royalty inside Cinderella Castle?  My son requests this meal every time we visit.

My absolutely favorite character dining experience is breakfast at ‘Ohana with Lilo, Stitch and a few other friends.  You will enjoy a delicious family-style feast influenced by Polynesian flavors.

My son and I also recently did the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine breakfast at Hollywood & Vine and he had a great time meeting his favorite Disney Junior friends.  If your daughter is a fan of Disney Junior, I would highly recommend this experience.

Another Princess favorite is Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot.  I personally love lunch or dinner here which include Norwegian-inspired fare featuring the finest Scandinavian seafood, cured and sliced meats, and lots more.

With so many choices, the possibilities are endless.  As a friendly reminder, reservations are very popular for a lot of the table service restaurants on property, so be sure to make yours online or by calling (407) 939-1947.

If I can help you with anything else, please let me know!
    Happy planning.
