Hello, I will be taking my daughter (7 y/o) on our first Disney cruise (Wonder, Cozumel/Grand Cayman) 4/17. Is it better to book activities ahead or on board? How are the meal rotations selected? We are vegetarians and would prefer more no meat options.

    Hi Alexandra -

Your cruise is coming up soon, and I'm so excited for you and your 7 year old princess!  I always recommend booking activities & port adventures in advance.  Most of the Port Adventures are limited to a certain number of participants to ensure that each guest enjoys their day at port to the fullest.  Some even fill up quickly due to popularity. It would be a great idea to do your Online Cruise check-in and planning sooner than later. I suggest that you check out the different activities for yourself and your daughter now, so that you can get your reservations set up.  There are some onboard activities that will also be listed on the daily Personal Navigator, so make sure you check that every night to plan for the next days' activities. Guest Services will assist you with booking anything else, while on board.

You will be rotating through all the main restaurants on your cruise, so you'll get to check out the different restaurants on board. You will also have a dedicated dining room team following you every evening at your dining rotations. You'll know your dining rotations once you embark.

The Disney Cruise Line prides itself with excellent service and availability of options, based on individual guests' needs and preferences. Make sure you indicate your Vegetarian Meal preference (or any other allergies or dietary needs) when you book your reservation. It is always helpful to let the DCL Travel Desk (or your travel agent) know in advance -- so that the necessary arrangements for your meals can be well prepared for.  Feel free to remind your dining team when you meet them... but they should have already been advised by Reservations before hand.

I hope this information helps.  Please do let us know if we can help with any of your other inquiries now that you are preparing for your cruise!

    Have a magical day!
