    We are taking my daughter for her first birthday in January. If I buy the annual passes now but do not activate them until January 4th will they charge me monthly if the passes aren't active until January? I know they will charge the down payment.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for stopping by with your question. First and foremost: happy, happy early birthday to your daughter! I just celebrated my birthday in The Most Magical Place on Earth, and it was an absolutely perfect day. 

    I love that Florida residents are able to pay for Walt Disney World Annual Passes in monthly installments. What a great perk you have as one of Mickey’s closest neighbors! I checked in with a friendly Cast Member, who confirmed that, at the time you purchase your Annual Passes, you will pay a down payment, which will be paid immediately. Then, the remaining cost will be split into 12 monthly installments, the first of which will be charged on the day of the purchase or shortly thereafter. If you have any further questions about purchasing an Annual Pass, I highly recommend contacting (407) 939-5277, as they will be able to help with all the specifics. As a fellow Annual Passholder, welcome to the family, and enjoy all the great perks that come along with that special Mickey card!

    I hope your daughter has the most ONE-derful first birthday at Walt Disney World, Gina. Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to get a birthday button for her (you can get one for each family member too); wearing the buttons means fellow Guests and Cast Members can wish her well all day long.
