I am taking my 8 y.o. daughter to DW for her first time May 12-19,2011. We are interested in doing a character breakfast. Which is better, Chef Mickeys or Cape May? Also, what is the cost of the b-fast for Chef Mickeys? The cost chart is a little confusing

    Hi Danielle:

As to a battle between character breakfasts at Chef Mickey's or Cape May Cafe, my family always enjoys a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's, so I have a bias towards Chef Mickey's. At Chef Mickey's, you can enjoy a huge breakfast buffet (including eggs, waffles, pastries, cereals, and more) with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and friends. The energy at Chef Mickey's is incredible. My boys not only enjoy the huge buffet, but their smiles shine when Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie stop by the table to pose for pictures and sign autographs. I don't want to spoil any surprises, but start practicing your napkin waiving skills now. Prices are subject to change, but as of this posting, breakfast at Chef Mickey's is $26.62 per adult and $13.99 per child ages three to nine. Children under three eat free off of an adult's plate. During certain crowded seasonal times of the year, the price may increase by a few dollars.

Cape May Café is wonderful too. It's a delicious and fun beach-themed breakfast usually featuring Goofy, Minnie, and Donald. We even had a surprise visit from Goofy's seldom-seen son Max at our last meal at Cape May Café. Enjoy Mickey Waffles, fresh-baked pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt bar, and other favorites. If you ever wanted to know what Donald, Goofy, and Minnie look like in their swim-wear, you should definitely check out Cape May Café.

IF had had to choose, I give the edge to Chef Mickey's for the energetic atmosphere.
