We will be taking our daughter to Disneyland for her second birthday. There are some rides she of course are unable to ride, however we would like to ride. The "rider switch" where does the waiting parent wait with the kid until it's thier turn?

    Hello Anna!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a magical week.

Rider Switch is for Guests with Children that don’t meet the height requirement or do not wish to ride the attraction, one Adult waits with the non-rider Child while the first rides, then they “switch” so the second Adult can then enjoy the attraction. There is no cost for the Rider Switch program. Whenever my family utilized this service, we would all be present when asking the Cast Member for the Rider Switch Pass.

As for where to wait, we usually wait in a gift shop or near the exit of the attraction but sometimes my youngest wants to wander a bit. Just make sure to stay close so the other parent can find you at the end of the ride. There isn’t a set designated area that you have are confined to.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
