Hi There ! I am taking my daughter to Disneyland for her 14th birthday. I'd love to dine at a restaurant that will bring her a cupcake or treat for her birthday so we could sing to her. I just have no idea where to go.

    Hi there, Christina!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so glad to hEAR from you again. And we are so happy that you will be celebrating your young princess’ birthday at the Disneyland Resort

A birthday celebration at a Disneyland Resort Dining Location is a Fantasmic! idea. When you make your dining reservation, you may opt to purchase a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to enhance your celebration. These delicious treats are large enough for four to six guests to enjoy. You may choose from different flavors (white chocolate and dark chocolate) and may ask for a “happy birthday” design. It’s sure to be a sweet ending to a memorable dining experience.

In some cases, servers at Disneyland Resort restaurants may be able to go out of their way to add a little extra pixie dust to the dining experience for guests celebrating a birthday. (Tony’s Tip: Make sure you pick up a complimentary Happy Birthday button from a Guest Relations or merchandise location and let the host or hostess know about your special occasion when you check in for your reservation.) Though there is no guarantee, your server may be able to arrange for a single-serving dessert for a guest celebrating a birthday. We have been fortunate to have this happen for a member of our family when celebrating at some of our favorite dining Disneyland Resort locations, such as Blue Bayou Restaurant, Carnation Cafe, Storytellers Cafe, and Steakhouse 55. This is a service that is not uncommon at most of the table service restaurants throughout the Disneyland Resort.

I hope your daughter has a magical birthday at the Disneyland Resort, Christina. And I wish a very merry unbirthday to you too!
    ~Tony
