    I will be taking my daughter to Disney World next year along with my mother and 2 sisters. My daughter will be 6 yrs and none of us have ever been. Best time for us is week bw xmas and ny. How can we make this an amazing gift for us all?

    I am so happy that you and your family get to experience Walt Disney World at one of the best times to visit the Happiest Place on Earth. During this time of year the parks really do look their most beautiful. The beauty of the holiday lights and decorations will remain with you as a magical memory. I would begin by suggesting that you all stay at a Disney property on site. With over 25 resorts, Disney has great accommodations for you and your family at every price. I would totally order the free Disney Vacation Planning DVD. This great tool will provide you with great information on the parks, where to stay and great food options. Once you arrive here are a few must do tips at the parks. Make sure to head on over to the Magic Kingdom. Start at City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. to pick up your first time visitor celebration button. While you are there make sure to take the gang over to meet the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse. At the Town Square Theater you can get a picture with Mickey, as well as an autograph and a great big hug. Everyone love this photo opportunity and you will also. While there make sure to ride the classics like the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and 'it's a small world.' At night I would make sure that the family gets a good spot to watch Wishes. This nighttime show is a real treat for both the young and young at heart. I would also suggest that the whole group enjoy a lovely character dining experience. I have so many great photos of my little girls smiling and having fun making magical memories with their favorite Disney characters while we all enjoy a delicious meal. It's a great idea that you will all enjoy. Well these are just a few of the many great ideas I have for you and the family.
